Sunday October 5

October 5 Sunday….yet again at Mercer, PA

After a very, very leisurely start we got stuck in and finished polishing the van, seemed to take longer than expected. We had brought with us from NZ a precut sign for RUAKIWI, intended for the front of the van, but had never put it on! So today was the day….caused Ian quite a bit of grief trying to get it to fit okay as the front panel had a curve in it. Anyway she looks great and shining like a bright star.
Decided to stay in this camp for another night as the facilites were very good. Late afternoon we popped 3 miles down the road to a huge Outlet mall…hundreds of name brand stalls. Decided we needed to buy a new suitcase for the trip home…seem to have accumulated quite a bit of “stuff” during the past 3 months. The Samsonite store had a huge selection, and got a very good bag that has a hard base, but a collapsible top that will be ideal for storing in Ruakiwi. After a stop in Grove City for supplies we were back at camp in Mercer. Not a day for photos…again! Getting twitchy fingers!

Do you think I should take this baby to Marietta and cruise around with Colby??? On some side of the road depending on my mood!!

Mate, I'm impressed. She is looking good. Can't understand why it has taken the old fella 3 months to get her name in the front. What a shame to put her inside for the next 8 months.

Glad you two are impressed...but won't be telling you where the key is!
