Wednesday August 17

September 17 Wednesday, Saint John, New Brunswick

We are onboard the ferry (our 5th crossing!), taking the 3 hour trip from Digby. It’s a great afternoon and a very smooth crossing.
Walked into town again this morning before breakfast, and around the harbour for some daylight shots of the wharf area. The town is quite a quaint place and looked great in the early morning light.
After a late breakfast went out to the ferry terminal and booked the ferry crossing, then spent the morning wandering around the town and did a bit of shopping, then a lazy afternoon as we waited for the 4.30 departure.
10.00pm…..Arrived in Saint John in the fog and it was dark. Jilly couldn’t find the campground just out of town, so we had to fly by the seat of our pants…and didn’t do very well! After a number of wrong turns we finally got to the camp, plugged in, poured a wine and cooked a quick dinner…in that order!
