Tuesday August 9, Brookby Strand, Just out of Copenhagen

Playing with reflections

The weather today has been really good, sunny and pleasantly warm. We have spent quite a bit of time working out where to stay in Copenhagen as there is an environmental zone around the city and Ruakiwi cannot go into it, we certainly didn’t want the huge fine! We found a camp on a marina just outside the zone, and the train into the city is only a 20 minute walk. Perfect.

After doing the van ablutions this morning we set off on the motorway into the city. Jilly and the navigator did a perfect job!!! Arrived midday and got a good spot. I walked into town this afternoon and checked out the train station and picked up a few things at the supermarket and Ian meandered around the marina checking out the boats!!!

Very few photos and not a lot else to chat about. Looking forward to tomorrow, and having a look around what is supposed to be a beautiful city.

There are cycle tracks everywhere, I am walking
on one, there is another the same size on the other
side of the road.

Another beautiful evening at another marina.

Look forward to hearing about “the big smoke” experience. Love your water abstract.
