Our view tonight...beautiful.

Went for a bit of a wander around the campsite this morning, have really enjoyed our stay here, very relaxing. There was no need to rush today as our drive was less than two hours. Headed back down the road again to Lienz then took Route 108, another great drive following the river up the valley through the wonderful scenery that we have come to enjoy so much in Austria.
Found a good spot for a lunch break then continued up to 1400m before driving through the 8km long Felber Tunnel which popped us out on the other side of the mountains, then down into the next valley. Everywhere are ski towns with gondolas up into the mountains. Certainly, no shortage of ski areas for the ski bunnies.
Yesterday we filled up with diesel, €1.21 a litre, the cheapest yet in Europe and today passed a garage at €1.19!
Once again, our campsite is beside a guesthouse with a magnificent view down over the valley. The sun was shining when we arrived but soon the wind got up and the rain came.
Love the Austrian mountain scenery.

Can't help getting the camera out when we go through tunnels.

A traditional guesthouse.
