Saturday September 11, South Beach WA
It was just such a nice place that we stayed another day, and as we are winding down at the end of the trip it was a good time to have some R&R. Did some chores and had a great walk down the beach, it drops steeply through mounds of very rounded rocks to the sand and the whole beach is lined with driftwood, and not just small pieces but really huge logs. Evidently the winter storms can be quite severe but we have had wonderful calm weather. The “hunter and gatherer” collected manageable lengths of driftwood and the fire tonight was superb.
The beach has provided some interesting photos, rather different to the past few months.
