Tuesday September 27, St Remy de Provence

Spotted this in a shop window!

We’ve had a relatively quiet day with a very leisurely start. Late morning, we went for a wander around town enjoying the small streets and interesting little shops. Stopped at a café and sat outside, enjoying people watching over a glass of vino and a beef carpaccio salad. I am still battling with lack of taste and smell, but I get different taste sensations. I’m certainly not going to be eating bread and water until I get it back!

A very relaxed afternoon with a wee siesta and then Ian and Sue came round after they got home from their day out at Aigues Mortes….which they thoroughly enjoyed. We had been there in 2017 and recommended they visit. Off down to the town and found another restaurant, just so many to pick from, where we sat outside and had such a great last evening together. There is a big market in town tomorrow and we will meet up again before they head off to their next stop.
