Gorgeous evening at 9pm as we walked
home from dinner.

Great weather, sunny skies and around 20 degrees. A bit of a rest day getting a bit more organised in the van. Conny and I walked down to the old town to the bakery to get bread for lunch, and by the time I got back my legs were feeling like jelly!

We were both feeling quite jaded so when Conny and Hitten went off for a bike ride after lunch, we had a siesta…and I ended up sleeping for 2 hours. Guess the head cold was taking its toll on top of a bit of jet lag. Felt so much better. Wandered down to the town again this evening with Conny and Hitten for a meal, sitting outside on the street. Love the atmosphere with very few cars and people riding past on their bikes. Nice food, I had a very tender pork schnitzel on a bed of peppers, onions and mushrooms.

And then ready for bed again!!! Not much to report, but here’s hoping tomorrow will be better!

I had made Conny a dress...and both
delighted to see that it fitted well!

Relaxing in the shade before dinner.

Love these old houses, so beautifully
maintained.
