The boys on the job!

Yes, we are still here, annoying Conny and Hitten!!

Yesterday we took Ruakiwi to Mercedes in a nearby town, about 15 minutes’ drive from here and left it there with instructions to complete the two-year service, and also to replace the exhaust tailpipe which we knew was on its last legs. Had planned to collect it this afternoon but they had a hold-up so it won’t be ready until tomorrow morning.

We have had a very relaxing few days, Hitten took us to a few stores to collect bits and pieces we need for the trip, I’ve had a few walks to the local supermarket and today Ian has been helping Hitten put a new roof on his woodshed, they are just completing a new outside area which is going to be so good over the summer.

Today the weather has been a little warmer and no rain, so hopefully the cold spell is over, and we will be on the road tomorrow.
