It’s been a very big day, but finally we have arrived safe and sound with all our bags at the airport hotel, ready for a morning flight to Seattle.

Left the lake at 8 and had a great time catching up with all the family in Pukekohe and Waiuku before Dean took us to the airport ready for our 7.15pm flight. Even had time for a drink with Lynn at the airport.

Seemed to take ages to go through customs at San Fran, then another 30 minute wait for the hotel shuttle, so it was 2.30 before we got to the hotel. Had planned to catch the train into the city to check out what was happening with Team NZ and the America’s Cup racing, but it really was too late. So showered and had a rest before heading out for an early dinner overlooking San Francisco Bay. The biggest issue now is to keep our eyes open for a little longer!
