Sunday September 4, Chinook
Somehow today has been like a holiday, within a holiday. Ian did a bit of work on Ruakiwi this morning, but I just lazed the day away, chatting, reading (have my nose in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) and finally finished joining up some more squares on the blanket.
Plans had been to head off tomorrow, but Ian was asked to go fishing tomorrow with Doug and Mitch from the camp. He is absolutely delighted. The Chinook fishing season had been closed but they were just informed on the weekend that they were opening it again, so they will be heading out through the bar of the river and fishing in the ocean.
Thought I would include a couple of pics of the inside of Ruakiwi, after she was spruced up!!!
