Monday September 21, Finley Point State Park, Flathead Lake, MT

Richard was back at work this morning…we weren’t up early enough to see him go! We decided to head north for a few days and check out Flathead Lake before we fly home on Friday. We went to the big RV centre in Missoula where Richard had made some enquiries and have arranged to take Ruakiwi there on Friday morning on the way to the airport, they will service it and store it for us over the winter, it has all worked out so well. Went to Napa and replaced the 2 house batteries as they are finally giving out, not managing to hold the charge all night. They have done well as Marge thought they were ready for replacing last year.

Got a few supplies in town then north to this wonderful camp spot right beside Flathead Lake. Spent the late afternoon enjoying the sun. The weather is still fine and dry but has cooled a little, it dropped to almost zero overnight and only got to 20 today, a big change from a few days ago.

A think I am slowing down a little with my photography, maybe it is with the trip coming to an end!
