Monday August 16, Lake Tutshi, YT

We had intended driving to Whitehorse this morning to organize a grease and oil change for Ruakiwi, but found out that there is a public holiday in Yukon tomorrow, so that put paid to that. Decided that we might as well stay at this beautiful spot and have a quiet day.

So it really has been a rest day, apart from a long walk along the lake shore we have been really lazy, reading books and generally just being “blobs”, haven’t even taken a photo!

Last night the wind got up and all day it has been really quite gusty.

We sat around the campfire with Ken and Sue and had a wonderful “Pot luck” dinner with them in their RV, great night.
