We are off again!

Lake Tarawera, NZ

Finally, we made our decision on Monday to head back to the States again this year, so visited our wonderful Travel Agent on Tuesday, and everything was sorted. We leave on Sunday 28th June...suddenly realised how close it was so both of us have been busy making lists, and getting jobs done.
We will overnight in Los Angeles, then fly to Fort Wayne, Indiana changing planes in Chicago. We have been speaking with Marge and she has been wonderful taking Ruakiwi for a few runs over the winter, so everything is ready waiting for us.
Now the decision has been made we are both feeling excited and have been studying maps, and surfing the net, working out where we will be heading this year.
Ian is keen to see a bit of the Canadian prairies, so will head up to Canada through Wisconsin, Minnesota and into Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Then it will be south into North and South Dakota, Nebraska and Colorado, before heading north through Colorado, Wyoming and a final stop in Missoula, Montana, to leave Ruakiwi for the winter.
But as we knew from last year, plans are made to be changed.
The next entry will be from the USA....wonderful.

Don't sweat the small stuff. There are shops I have heard in the country you are visiting and I am sure with much difficulty you can choose between the 200 brands of toothpaste or whatever you have forgotten! Smile now you are on your way!

Here we are wading through a wet and windy Waikato day, thinking of you..."they must be in America by now"...."Yes", says my boyfriend,"stiff and tired and sick of the inside of an aeroplane, and looking for the next one!"...I'm sure it's more fun than that, and you'll be a whole lot warmer than we are, and already having fun chatting up the locals.
Miss you already!
Much love,
J & D
