Sunday November 3, Durango

We have had such a great relaxing weekend with Andy and Julie, so nice to spend time with family.
Andy had a concrete truck arriving yesterday morning to pour some concrete steps and path around the house, so Ian was able to get into a bit of physical work while Julie, Opie and I had some retail therapy downtown. Love Durango, it has a population of 20,000 and has all season sports here, from mountain biking, kaying, to snow skiing which is all on their back door. The people who live here just love the lifestyle.
Andy took us out to the latest building he had just finished remodelling, what a place, and was able to do some photographs of it for him. He is also doing some leading edge work manufacturing concrete benches, basins, and table tops, great stuff. We played surrogate grandparents this afternoon with Opie while Andy and Julie went off for a bike ride, we didn’t complain!! And finished off with a walk to the neighbourhood brew pub for dinner, a great finish to the weekend.
And after changing our time zones quite often over the past few weeks, daylight saving finished last night, so once again we had to put our clocks back again.
It’s been a bit of a rest with the camera this weekend, apart from having fun with Opal!

Saturday morning workout for Ian!
