Sunday September 18 At home day in the campground at Bergen

Guess it could be anywhere, but this morning's light on the lake was beautiful

It’s been a great day and we all enjoyed just hanging around, with no need to drive anywhere. Late start, and with free wifi managed some calls home and caught up with a lot of photos.
Ian has had a great day with Gerhart, he has the same Mercedes chassis as we do, and was able to explain so many little things especially as the manual is in German, which is not the best when you can’t read German!
Conny and I had fun as I tried to help her a bit with resizing her photos on her Mac (which I am not familiar with) using a Nikon program which is written in German. But we got there eventually. She keeps a blog as well.
Yesterday we found a piece of lamb at a very nice supermarket, it was some boned leg with rosemary, so we shared with Conny and Gerhart a little bit of a traditional kiwi dinner as I roasted it in the gas oven, made some gravy but had to have mashed potatoes as no room to roast them. With a few vegetables it felt like we were home in NZ. Once again, a perfectly wonderful evening with our German friends.

Good friends, good food, and good wine!
