In case you
have been checking the blog of late….firstly we didn’t get away last year, but
we are getting organised now to fly out of Auckland on Tuesday August 20th.
So looking forward to getting back on the road, really missed our “fix” last
year.
We will
head back to Anacortes, Seattle to pick up the van and spend a bit of time with
Sherry and Terry while we get everything road worthy and will be on our way before
the end of August.
As usual we
have no plans, just a general idea of where we are going and will let it evolve
as we travel and talk with people. In a nutshell we are going to spend the
American autumn (or Fall as they say) exploring the South West states of Nevada, Utah, Arizona and New
Mexico.
The first
stage will be following the West Coast down to San Francisco, before heading West.
I have
changed the look of my blog this year, do let me know what you think and if you
are having problems navigating around it.
Planning
also to put a few things on Facebook so if you are not a “friend”, maybe you
would “Like” me! Still getting used to using Facebook, but it is a great way to
keep in contact with everyone.
